Who Can I Help?

Growing up can be both exciting and challenging. Counselling for young people aged 12 and above offers a safe, confidential space where they can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. No matter their background, gender identity, or personal circumstances, every young person deserves a supportive environment to be heard and understood.

Young people face a unique set of pressures, from academic stress to family dynamics, friendships, and identity exploration. Counselling provides a compassionate, secure space for them to share their feelings, work through challenges, and develop tools to manage emotions and build resilience. Whether they’re navigating difficulties at home, struggling with self-esteem, or coping with anxiety, therapy helps young people build confidence, foster self-awareness, and strengthen their emotional well-being. It’s about empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and make positive changes for their future.

How do we begin?

1. Free 15-min Phonecall

Your free (optional) 15-minute introductory call, easily scheduled via email, allows us to get acquainted and discuss your child's needs. Your child can be present during the phone call or you may prefer to talk things through first without them. You can then choose to book a first session or get in touch when you're ready.

I will send you a client information form to complete and a counselling agreement to read and sign before our initial session. That first session provides an opportunity to determine if we're a good fit for each other. This session allows your child to share their background, ask questions, and set the stage for our therapeutic journey together.

3. Onward Regular Therapy

We will then have regular therapy sessions. We will regularly review therapy progress, empowering us to work collaboratively towards achieving the goals we've established together.
